In 2017, a group of passionate individuals came together with a shared vision of creating a space where people could come together to celebrate and learn about different cultures. With determination and hard work, Voices of Micronesians of Maui was born.
Our community is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to have built a diverse and inclusive community of artists, performers, educators, and supporters who share our passion for promoting cultural understanding and appreciation.
Over the years, Voices of Micronesians of Maui has hosted countless cultural events, art exhibitions, and educational programs. We have also collaborated with many local organizations to support their efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
As a whole, there were 31 Challengers and four Accountability Coaches. Of the 31, 10 participants were from the Micronesian community. Due to some circumstances, two people dropped out, two people finished the challenge but didn’t do a final weigh-in, and seven of them finished out the challenge with a final weigh-in.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the support of our community to continue our mission. Donate today to help us continue to promote cultural understanding and appreciation.
